AMERICAN Joe Beauchesne pitched a shutout, Ben Ventura scored twice, Glenn Wiswell had a goal and an assist and Dylan Vrees two assists in Seacoast’s 4-0 win over Nashua; and Jay Drapeau scored twice and Tim Paige, Matt Bunyon and Tyler Bird all had 1-1-2 in Nashua’s 5-3 victory over the Avalanche, who got two goals from Nate Boyd.

AMERICAN John Peloso and Kyle Glenn both delivered two goals and two assist, John Fiallo also scored twice and Devan Tongue had two assists as the Falcons defeated the Warrior ’99 Elites, 6-1.

AMERICAN Albany swept a pair from the Warrior ’00 Elites. Joe Molloy (1-1-2) scored with 3:01 left to lift the River Rats to a 4-3 victory – and Tom Liebold posted 1-2-3, Alex Carpenter scored twice and Molloy and Chris Verstandig both had 1-1-2 in a 6-3 victory;
Mike Pitts wore the hat, Sydney Harrington posted 1-2-3, Kyle Greer had three assists, Mike Kesselring scored twice, Pat Murphy and Eamon Silvia-Chandley both had 1-1-2 and Cody Sullivan two assists as the Avalance beat Assabet, 9-2 – Jacob McCosker with both goals in the loss.

MITE MAJOR (01)
AMERICAN The Avalanche and the Warrior ’01 Elites split a pair of games. Brett Bliss (2-1-3) scored what turned out to be the winner with 4:48 left, Matt Eskenas had 1-2-3, Chris Roy also scored twice and Cade DeStefani added two assists as the Avs beat the Warriors, 6-5, Ronan Doherty with 1-1-2 in the loss – and Cam Knight had 2-1-3 and VJW won, 6-4, Eskenas with 1-1-2 in the loss.
AMERICAN PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Matt Eskenas, Avalanche
NATIONAL Nashua needed two wins to make the playoffs and got them, with backup goalie Jason “Tuukka” Bunyon doing a great job in goal. Chris Haley wore a natural hat and had an assist and Luke Beckstein posted 1-2-3 in a 5-3 win over the Avalanche – and Beckstein wore the hat and had an assist and Haley delivered 1-3-4 in front of Bunyon (who is called “Tuukka” on and off the ice) in a 4-3 decision over Seacoast.

MITE MINOR (02) Mike Finneran set up three goals and Josh Smith and Jack Queenan both scored two as the Warrior Mite Selects beat Assabet, 5-1 – and Jake Sanclemente scored the winner as the Monarchs edged Assabet, 3-2.
