2009 Greater Boston vs. South Shore Recap!

Sunday January 19th

Another great NEHL game this past weekend featured the 2009 Greater Boston All-Stars vs. 2009 South Shore All-Stars. Both teams played very well on both sides of the puck but it was South Shore who came out on top in this one 4-2! Alexander Babson of South Shore had a nice multiple point game which led his team to victory. Greater Boston got goals from Dan Feeney and Brian Fleming.

This weeks game of the week comes in the 2011 Division... South Shore VS Greater Boston! Good luck to all teams in action!

 

2010 North Shore vs. South Shore Recap!

Sunday January 12th

Last week’s “GOTW” was a battle of the North and South. North Shore did get some offensive production but it was the forwards from the South who outplayed the North Shore defensemen down low in the O-zone. South Shore exploded with a huge offensive game which lead to 11 goals scored. South Shore is now 15-0 on the season and is a heavy favorite to go the distance

 

2009 North Shore vs. South Shore Recap!

Sunday January 5th

The North Shore All-Stars battled the very talented South Shore conference All-Stars in last weeks “Game of the Week”. It proved to be a great game with a solid mixture of stellar offense and defense displayed by both sides. Brady Chase and Alexander Babson both scored for the South Shore All-Stars but it wasn’t enough to top the 4 goals scored by the North Shore. The offense was spread out nicely as North Shore had four different goal scorers in a big 4-2 win!

 

2009 North Shore vs. Greater Boston Recap!

This week was a bit of a surprise as the Greater Boston team played extremely well against a high powered North Shore team! Greater Boston had their offense spread out nicely across their roster, but two players R. Daley & D. Flemming found the score sheet twice. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as North Shore’s Tony Bordonaro scored twice in a 7-6 win for the 2009 North Shore squad! Great game played by both sides!

 

2008 Greater Boston vs. South Shore Recap!

This game could have been a preview of the championship at the 2008 level! Greater Boston squared off with a very worth adversary in the South Shore All-Stars. South Shore got a great performance out of Michael Curry who had 2 goals in the contest. Greater Boston exploded in the first netting 3 goals. James Payton had a goal and an assist in the 1st and the South Shore All-stars could never recover. This loss was the first of the season for the South Shore Dynamos.

 

2011 North Shore vs. Greater Boston Recap!

The 2011 North Shore All-Stars squared off with All-Stars from Greater Boston! Greater Boston received a great effort from Luke Kashian who posted a goal and an assist. Kenji French and Will Boudreau both played very well adding a goal and an assist each. Despite a great effort, it wasn’t enough to match North Shore’s offensive onslaught which resulted in 5 goals scored! North Shore was led by Ryan Doherty who posted 3 points in the win!

 

2010 South Shore vs. Greater Boston Recap!

The 2010 South Shore All-Star team defeated a very solid Greater Boston team this past Sunday. Despite a huge offensive push from the Greater Boston squad, they simply could not match the effort put forth by South Shores Quinn Grothe. Quinn played fantastic as he posted 2 goals and added 2 assists in a 6-4 South Shore win! Both goalies faced plenty of shots but it was South Shore who came out on top!!

 

2009 Middlesex vs. North Shore Recap!

The 2009 Middlesex All-Star team succumbed to their first loss of the season this past Sunday. Despite a great effort and posting 3 goals in the 2nd period, Middlesex couldn’t find the back of the net in the 3rd as they lost 8-4 to the North Shore All-Star team. Forward Antonio Bordonaro had a huge game as he posted the hat trick to go along with 3 assists for 6 total points! This marks North Shore’s biggest win to date, as they break Middlesex’s unbeaten streak!
