The “Player of the Week” is back and with so many great games from this past weekend, it’s no doubt that this week provided several players deserving of the award! This weeks “Players of the Week” hail from the Greater Boston 2012’s and the Merrimack Valley 2010’s, respectively. First up, Andrew Androsenko from the Greater Boston 2012 All-Star team. Andrews fantastic play culminated with a “hat trick”, one of which being the game winning goal, is much deserving of this honor. Coach Chris Marchese had this to say about Andrews play, “ Andrew has 5 goals in the last 2 games. He’s a very skilled skater. He is a force for the Greater Boston 2012’s.” Greater Boston won a nail-biter 6-5 over the Merrimack Valley All-stars.
Next up is Dillion Hannan of the 2010 Merrimack Valley All-Stars. Dillion has been an offensive threat the entire season. Head Coach Ken said, “Dillon is always looking for that teammate to move the puck to and it is this mindset that is working to excel his game to the next level. His nose for the goal is exceptional but the playmaker in him is what I like best from my players and he is helping his team become a better unit with that.” Congratulations to both Andrew Androsenko and Dillion Hannan.
Honorable Mention: Dom Santisi (Middlesex 2008) & Franz Schroeder (Middlesex 2008)
